POSITION:                      Master Press / Filter Technician

DESCRIPTION:         

• Able to operate the ulta filtration, pressing, thermal, chilling and sanitation process for the ultra filter and Bucher presses.
• Chemical safety for tank, tanker, presses, filters cleaning and sanitizing. 
• Prepares paperwork for quality assurances, raw materials usage, millipore cleaning and chemical inventory. 
• Certified in towmotor operations and flavor evaluation program. 
• Performs minor repairs and adjustments on all pressing equipment and is responsible for informing management of repairs or repair parts needed in order to maintain maximum mechanical efficiency. 
• Performs all liquid analytical functions in filtration dept. 
• Has operational knowledge on pressure and vacuum filter, concentrator, liquid piping system for liquid conveying and running polygallons. 
• Loads and transports pomace trucks and unloads pulp tankers as needed. 
• Responsible for other assigned duties to include but not limited to housekeeping, safety, etc.
