Description
National Fruit Product Company is looking for a Customer Service Associate to join our team.


Position responsibilities:
 
  • Deals with customers electronically, and by telephone and responds to inquiries promptly.
  • Will be responsible for posting production and Labeling Out of Stock.
  • Will be responsible for reports that are needed in morning meetings.
  • Will assist in coding and clearing deductions.
  • Mail Consumer Letters
  • Responsible for releasing orders for Freight appointments.
  • Responsible for scheduling buyer’s trucks.
  • Brokerage (once a month)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential skills and experience:
 
  • Should have impressive telephone etiquette.
  • Great communication skills as well as ability to work with others in close manner.
  • Able to deliver excellent customer service, externally and internally
  • Should have good product knowledge
  • Reading, writing, numeracy, oral communication, problem solving.
 
Education and Experience:
  •  High School Graduate / GED
  • General Education Degree from accredited institution
 
SQF Requirements/Responsibilities:
  • Support SQF requirements by maintaining food safety plan and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner to ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and Kosher product requirements.
  • Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action and or Food Defense issues to the Food Safety and Quality Department.
 
Safety Responsibilities:
  • Safety is vitally important not only at our facility but also from a personal standpoint. Employees are responsible for understanding and following all safety procedures. Likewise, food safety is a key performance indicator. Understanding this, GMP and housekeeping procedures are to be followed as part of any job at our facility.

  • Work environment:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment requires mandatory use of ear plugs.
