The following year round job is now open in Distribution.   
 
POSITION:                         DISTRIBUTION – LEAD PERSON
                                          (Starting pay rate will depend on skills and ability)
 
DEPARTMENT:                  DISTRIBUTION
 
SHIFT INTENTION:             1st SHIFT - WITH FLEXIBILITY
 
DESCRIPTION:     

• Lead, direct, train and motivate distribution team.
• ​Responsible for coordinating warehouse raw materials movements, product movement and product shipment schedules. and handles all related paperwork.
• Fills in for scale house clerk, weighing trucks, directing fleet drivers to docks for loading of product and billing of loads.
• Responsible for training, performance evaluations, attendance records and other related personnel duties.
• Must have computer skills and be proficient in Excel.
• Must have verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write and possess good math skills.
• Ability to understand and execute verbal instructions.
• Will be responsible cleaning and maintaining distribution areas.
• Must keep working equipment in good and clean working condition while being safety conscious.
• Must have knowledge and ability to promote good working habits, ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Must have knowledge of GMP’s and SQF requirements and ensure the distribution workforce follows the guidelines.
• Must have forklift certification or be able to obtain certification.
• Will fill in for the department manager for short periods.
• Must pass GMP test.
• Will be required to do other work as directed. 

 
NOTE:                      One to six months to become proficient in job.  Must be flexible in shift and hours worked.  Growth potential.
