Description
We are looking for a Marketing Intern.


The Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Marketing Department with a variety of social media and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Social Media focus includes:
    • Assist with social media engagement by helping manage Whitehouse Food’s social channels.
o    Drafting and editing for social channels.
o    Monitoring social media web analytics on a weekly basis (e.g. page views, twitter followers), and provide reports of growth and other activity.
  • Marketing/advertising focus includes:
    • Engaging with marketing teams on a regular basis to brainstorm ideas for new and innovative marketing and social media campaigns.
    • Assist with gathering data for marketing reports and supporting a variety of marketing and advertising programs.
  • General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Researching industry-specific sites (blogs, forums, etc) for product reviews, customer comments, and other relevant marketing information.
    • Maintaining marketing program files.
·         Travel to different locations in state and out-of-state.

Qualifications
  • High School Degree or GED
  • Applicants must be able to read, write, add, subtract, communicate orally, and be able to problem solve.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social media platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Willing and able to travel in-state and out-of-state.
SQF Requirements/Responsibilities:
·         Support SQF requirements by maintaining food safety plan and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner to ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and Kosher product requirements.
·         Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action and/or Food Defense issues to the Food Safety and Quality Department.
Safety Responsibilities:
·         Safety is vitally important not only at our facility but also from a personal standpoint.  Employees are responsible for understanding and following all safety procedures.  Likewise, food safety is a key performance indicator.  Understanding this, GMP and housekeeping procedures are to be followed as part of any job at our facility.
