Description
Position summary: The primary role of an Electrician is to provide electrical services to the manufacturing facility. Candidate of this profile work under the supervision of a manager and are accountable for all electrical maintenance works.
 
Position responsibilities:
 
·         Ensuring the proper functioning of all electrical units in the facility.
·         Ensuring scheduled checks for spotting any malfunctions.
·         Complying with all safety norms and regulations of work environment.
·         Appropriately using and handling of electrical testing and repair equipments.
·         Completing all tasks as assigned by the supervising manager.
·         Attending job training activities.
·         Maintaining records of all electrical inventories and placing orders for spare parts and equipments.
·         Keeping a log of electrical repair and maintenance works.
·         Coordinating work functions with co-workers and other organizational departments.
·         Other duties as assigned.

Essential skills and experience:
 
·         Reading, writing, numeracy, oral communication, problem solving.
·         Ability to identify technical malfunctions in electrical units.
·         Sound understanding of handling and using electrical repair tools and equipment.
·         Ability to effectively manage time and coordinate work functions with co-workers.
 
Education and Experience:
 
·         High School Graduate / GED
·         Vocational Training
·         Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any other related field of study, a valid license and 2-3 years of experience of working as an electrician.
SQF Requirements/Responsibilities:
·         Support SQF requirements by maintaining food safety plan and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manor to ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and Kosher product requirements.
·         Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action and or Food Defense issues to the Food Safety and Quality Department.
Safety Responsibilities:
·         Safety is vitally important not only at our facility but also from a personal standpoint. Employees are responsible for understanding and following all safety procedures. Likewise, food safety is a key performance indicator. Understanding this, GMP and housekeeping procedures are to be followed as part of any job at our facility.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
·         Work environment:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment requires mandatory use of ear plugs.
