The following seasonal job is now open in the Apple Receiving Dept.  Any employee interested in making application for the job must file his/her application with the Plant Human Resources Department no later than Wednesday, August 10, 2016 @ 5 p.m.
 
POSITION:               OUTSIDE LIFT TRUCK OPERATOR
                                
 
DEPARTMENT:       APPLE RECEIVING                        
                               
                                                       
SHIFT INTENTION:  1st SHIFT WITH FLEXIBILITY
       
DESCRIPTION:

• Operates vertical forklift truck moving filled and empty bulk bins to all areas in the apple receiving area.
• Loads and unloads apple trucks and/or supplies.
• Maintains records concerning apple inventory to include variety, size and identity of bin.
• Monitors accuracy of scale tickets as they relate to bins.
• May operate forklift in cold storage.
• Operate bin box dumping equipment. 
• Must be able to do routine maintenance on equipment as required. 
• Performs on-line quality assurance checks.
• Responsible for other assigned duties to include but not limited to housekeeping, safety, recovering damaged product, etc. 

 
NOTE:                     Duties are more involved and normally require three to six months job related experience prior to appointment.
