Position summary: Vital position loading, unloading, and supplying manufacturing with apples for manufacturing.
 
Position responsibilities:
 
·         Operates vertical forklift truck moving filled and empty bulk bins to all areas in the
          apple receiving area.
·         Loads and unloads apple trucks and/or supplies.
·         Maintains records concerning apple inventory to include variety, size, and identity of bin.
·         Monitors accuracy of scale tickets as they relate to bins.
·         May operate forklift in Cold Storage.
·         Operate bin box dumping equipment.
·         Must be able to do routine maintenance on equipment as required.
·         Performs on-line Quality Assurance checks.
·         Other duties as assigned.

Essential skills and experience:
 

• Reading, writing, numeracy, oral communication, problem solving.

 
Education and Experience:
 

• High School Graduate / GED

SQF Requirements/Responsibilities:

• Support SQF requirements by maintaining food safety plan and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner to ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and Kosher product requirements.
• Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action and or Food Defense issues to the Food Safety and Quality Department.
